Kennametal 45° Hozzle Angle Blast Nozzle
The 45° Hozzle Series is a tungsten carbide angle access nozzle that directs the blast stream 45° at the tip from the nozzle. This allows for hard to reach places to be blasted effectively. The 45° exit angle is suited to applications where the nozzle body must be inserted along one axis while the blast is required to scour a surface at a diagonal — such as cleaning angled bores in turbine components, reaching behind angular tabs or ribs in aerospace structures, and surface preparation of recesses that are accessible only via a narrow channel but whose target surface is not perpendicular to the access direction. For the same ultra-slim format with a straight bore exit, the straight Hozzle Series is available in the same lengths. For a 90° perpendicular exit, the 90° Hozzle Series is available and for a 45° reverse blast flow, the 135° Hozzle Series can be considered. Hozzle angle design can be manufactured upon request, contact Reemster for more information. Key Features 11.1mm (7/16") OD slim body #3 (3/16" / 4.8mm) bore for a concentrated, precisely directed abrasive stream Designed for aerospace, aviation, and automotive component cleaning in the most confined access geometries Thread: 3/4" NSPM (steel); not compatible with standard 1-1/4" or 50 mm nozzle holders Available Lengths Available in three overall lengths: 101 mm (4"), 152 mm (6") and 254 mm (10").
