In 1975, Clemens Busch started working in his father’s tiny estate. Since then the winery has expanded its holdings and now farms some of the best vineyard sites in the northern Mosel. In 1984 he and wife Rita were among the first in Germany to commit to organic viticulture, playing a leading role in establishing an association of organic growers.
