Crescent Shelving

Designed by Colin King, the Audo Crescent is inspired by sculptural form and conceived with a sensitivity to space. As the name suggests, the design features a crescent-shaped silhouette with a flat front and curved back that interacts with the surrounding space from every angle. Designed to be viewed from all sides, its open form allows light and views to pass through, making it ideal for shelving, storage or use as a room divider. Constructed from veneered bent plywood sides and shelves with a hollow MDF construction, the Crescent combines strength and stability with a lighter visual expression. The shelving is supplied flat-packed and is assembled using metal brackets and screws for a secure structure, while adjustable feet help ensure balance on uneven floors. Available in two heights, 60 cm and 173 cm, the Crescent adapts easily to different settings. The lower version works beautifully behind a sofa or as a console, while the taller version lends structure and rhythm to larger spaces. Whether used for books, objects or everyday essentials, the Crescent encourages thoughtful display and easy organisation.
