SILK-VISCOSE GOLDEN VELVET

Golden velvet fabric with grey backing. Labeled as 13% silk, 87% viscose-- suspected that the backing is silk and pile is viscose. Measures 50.5" in width and available for order by the yard. *This velvet has no stretch, high shine, and is very soft to the touch. Pile height measures approximately 1/8". It is midweight, suitable for jacket-weight apparel, accessories, or upholstery use (pillows, etc). Could also make a great coat lining. These fabrics are recovered from high-end designers in New York City, sold as a sustainable alternative to destruction and discard in landfill.
