PRE-ORDER EXPECTED SHIPPING DATE END OF JULY. This is the ship's company version of the caps we provided for ARTEMIS 2 on their historic splashdown, April 10, 2026. These are identical to the caps available to the ship's crew aboard Apollo-era recovery ships, now featuring the newest Lunar mission recovery ship, U.S.S. JOHN P. MURTHA. These are fitted hats, and have no elastic band or adjustment. Please see the size chart below, paying close attention to the measurements. These hats run slightly loose when new. Order a size down if you prefer a tighter fit right out of the box. These replicate the hats worn aboard recovery ships during the 1960s and 70s for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo program, and now again on the recovery ship USS JOHN P. MURTHA for Artemis 2. Based on the original "Harvard" brand hats used by the US Navy for crew baseball caps, we have recreated these hats exactly like the originals including: Navy blue wool shell material Green underbrim White leather with red trim sweatband Sewn vent holes Vintage, small-batch machine embroidered crown patch Just like the originals, these come in fitted sizes rather than the modern stretch or tab hats.
