A constructional hearth isn’t necessary, but the stove must be placed on a stable, non-combustible surface. What Is Bioethanol Fuel? Bioethanol is a renewable, environmentally friendly fuel made by fermenting sugars from agricultural by-products like corn and wheat. It burns with nearly 100% efficiency, generating a substantial amount of heat while releasing only minimal water vapour and carbon dioxide. User-Friendly Operation Simply fill the burner tray with bioethanol, ignite it, and use the included tool to control the flame by opening or closing the burner lid. Safety Information This is a real flame appliance. Treat it as you would an open fire. • Do not leave the stove unattended while lit. • Always keep children and pets at a safe distance. • Ensure the room is well ventilated to allow oxygen replenishment and prevent a build-up of carbon dioxide. The room must have a minimum volume of 45m³ with natural ventilation. Failure to comply may result in headaches or sickness. • Install a working carbon monoxide (CO) alarm in the same room as the stove. • Ensure bioethanol fuel is stored in a fire-safe area. • A foam or dry powder fire extinguisher is required to ensure safety.
