This Antique Victorian 10k Solid Gold Ladies Cocktail Gold ring is set with a Fantastic 10.5x6.5mm RARE Natural Persian Turquoise Gemstone. This high quality Persian turquoise is a RICH BLUE COLOR. Persian Turquoise of the highest quality with no markings or matrix is called Angushtari and has been mined in Iran formerly known as Persia for over 5,000 years. The finest quality turquoise in the world comes from the mountainous range near the district of Nichapur, Iran. This area has been mined for centuries and most Persian Turquoise has been marketed at Mashhad and exported to Russia and India in the past centuries. Prior to World War I turquoise was Iran’s most important industry with over one hundred turquoise mines. After World War II the output declined and almost ceased after the revolution. The luster on this turquoise is superb. This is all natural Turquoise that is not color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Turquoise is a Rectangular Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This Persian Turquoise Gemstone is in PERFECT PRISTINE FLAWLESS CONDITION free of any chips, nicks, scratches or cracks. This ring is a comfortable solid back design and a beautifully ornate band.
