Basket Flower Seeds - Limit 1

This textural beauty is incredible in bouquet-- I can't believe I only snapped one photo! Soft feathery petals in creamy ivory emerge from intricate buds. The blooms are perfect for filling gaps in bouquets, and adding abundant sparkle and texture. I find Basket Flower similar in appearance to quilled China Asters, but Basket Flower offers rolling blooms all season, on incredibly long strong stems-- an improvement in my book! Growing to 6' tall, on stiff, upright plants, it is one of the few annual flowers that I find can be interplanted with dahlias to create a beautiful cottage garden look. Life cycle: Annual Start: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, or direct sow after last frost Planting depth: Barely cover; 1/8" deep Spacing: 12-18" apart Site: Full sun to part shade, average soils Days to maturity: 90-100 days Height: 6' Includes approximately 30 seeds. Germination test for this seed lot was near 65%.
