This is her series"Furry Forms" where she showcases a series of whimsical ceramic sculptures inspired by dogs. Each piece is unique and hand crafted from porcelain, with some glazed and others remain unglazed. The sculptures are painted with underglazes and oxides, enhancing their rich textures and vibrant colours. About the Artist Down With a Bachelor in Ceramics and Glass from Konstfack in Stockholm, Sofi Gunnstedt creates pieces that explore art’s role in language and communication. By curling and thumbing clay and ceramic, she creates sculptures and vases that communicate without the use of words. Sofi Gunnstedt creates high-quality and unique pieces while still keeping her aesthetics somewhat messy and playful.
