About the Piece: Here's a vintage Navajo turquoise row bracelet with some unique design elements. The silver cuff is open at the top and bottom to highlight the row of turquoise stones. It makes the stones seem like they're floating across the wrist. The chunky turquoise stones themselves are left in organic shapes and set in hand serrated bezels. Larger silver rain drop beads add the right amount of additional decoration. This bracelet has been worn and loved, and it has story attached to it. In fact, one turquoise stone has a crack directly across the center. The turquoise remains completely stable in its bezel. This additional "life-line" will speak to the right collector. Another wonderful detail of this bracelet is that one turquoise stone is different from all the others. It has a completely clear matrix and smooth surface while all the others are textured. The turquoise cuff comes from the collection of a husband and wife who were married for over 60 years. They began traveling to the Southwest early in their marriage and kept at it for decades, sharing a love of collecting Native American jewelry and art along the way. This bracelet measures 5 3/8" inside plus 1 1/16" opening and 1 1/2" width. It is unsigned.
