The Miele C1 Classic Pure Suction is the perfect vacuum choice for small homes with mostly hard floor surfaces and few area rugs with very low pile/nap. (This vacuum does NOT have a rotary style carpet nozzle. The 2-way floor nozzle has a lever that allows the user to extend the bristles for use on the bare floors, or flip the lever to retract the bristles and have a flat surface to glide across the carpet.) Miele has incorporated quality materials into a lightweight full size canister (only) weighing just under 10 pounds One bag is included in the vacuum. We suggest also adding the Miele GN Performance Pack, which has a years supply of bags and filters. FILTRATION: The Miele C1 comes with a pre-motor filter, a SF-micron exhaust filter and a Miele GN bag installed. ACCESSORIES: The C1 includes standard accessory tools: a dusting brush, crevice tool, and upholstery tool all of which can be stored on a small caddy. It can be mounted at the base of the hose for easy accessibility for convenience. +BAGS - this package includes a 4 pk of the GN HyClean bags. HARD FLOOR/CARPET TOOL: The C1 comes with a special 2-way straight suction nozzle. This allows for cleaning on hard floors as well as carpets. Simply press the lever to transition from one type to the other.
