Masterbuilt luthier's choice Magistra available now! Only a few of these instruments are built each year, entirely handbuilt by Koen van der Meij in our custom shop. This one has a balanced look, where exclusive features don't rule out a workhorse vibe. The simple control layout and one pickup show what this guitar is meant for: the heaviest riffs! The top is crafted from 2000-year-old Bog Oak, preserved in the waters of England. It is paired with a striking Pale Moon Ebony fingerboard, carefully selected for its figure and matched with a custom made pickup bobbin for a unified aesthetic. The pickup is a Bare Knuckle Pickup Ragnarok. On the back it has a highly figured Black Limba body, combined with a Wenge/Purpleheart neck.
