Full description The Leatherman Wave Alpha Obsidian is a versatile multitool with some nice improvements over the immensely popular Leatherman Wave. The MagnaCut steel blade, black G10 handle scales and considerably larger, spring-loaded scissors are striking. Leatherman Wave Alpha tools The Leatherman Wave Alpha features a host of highly practical and functional tools. All tools are locked when opened. The knife, file, bit holder and saw can be used without opening the Wave. Pliers You can open the pliers by opening the handles. The jaws are enhanced with small serrations that offer you additional grip. The tip is small enough for precise work, such as bending fish hooks or removing splinters. The back of the jaws are rounded to make sure you can easily move around in narrow spaces and bend the wire. The pair of pliers is enhanced with an interchangeable wire cutter. This allows you to sharpen the edges separately or to replace them. The wire cutter is also great for cutting small sticks and stems. Good pliers come in handy more often than you might think! MagnaCut blade The blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a black DLC coating. It's perhaps one of the most revolutionary steels of the 21st century.
