Veikko Kalevi Piirainen Ring

14k Gold & Amethyst Ring by Veikko Kalevi Piirainen, Helsinki This gorgeous ring features a beautifully faceted oval amethyst, elegantly set in solid 14k gold. It was designed and crafted by the Helsinki based jeweller Veikko Kalevi Piirainen (1955-1977). This ring is stamped with the Finnish hallmarks: 'VKP' (designer/maker), crown motif (Finland), '585' (14k gold) & 'V7' (year). It is in excellent vintage condition (outstanding for age). The stone measures 19mm X 12mm. The band retains its original shape well. The ring is a small size. It is an AU size L (EU 51 & US 5.75) with a 16.3mm diameter. If you're unsure about sizing, it is recommended that you measure a ring you currently wear to see if you're a similar size. The band can be resized.
