Banded Calcite

A Stone of Healing A form of Travertine, also called Calcite Onyx because of its banding. Travertine is the most common rock after Quartz. Formed from dissolved Calcite in ground water it is often coloured yellow or brown due to mineral impurities when forming. Often used in building the most famous is the Coliseum in Rome. A useful tool for those that heal as energy directed towards the crystal is said to return at double the intensity.
