Oval Vase Sponged Cobalt

Stoneware vase hand thrown on the wheel in a white stoneware clay. Turned and altered by hand once leather hard. Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then signed, waxed, and dipped into a glossy transparent glaze and sponged with cobalt oxide. Once dry the piece is ready for its final 1230 degree firing. Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity. Approximate measurements: 13cm x 10cm Opening 12cm Tall 7cm Base
