The aNueNue Koa Bird Soprano Electric brings the flagship 3K Bird series soprano onto the stage, pairing the same Selected 4A Hawaiian Koa body and Mitsuta Morihiko-voiced X-bracing as the acoustic US3K with aNueNue's AIR AIR pickup system built in. Everything that makes the acoustic US3K special carries over - the rosewood-bound koa body, ebony headstock with mother-of-pearl logo, spalted maple rosette and moon-phase inlays, ebony bridge and buffalo bone nut/saddle - with the AIR AIR system added inside the soundhole. It's a hybrid piezo-plus-internal-microphone pickup with independent volume and mic-level controls, designed to carry the natural, unplugged tone of the koa straight to the PA rather than colouring it. Same cutaway body for easy access to the top frets, same Gotoh UPT 1:4 planetary tuners and aNueNue Black Water strings as the acoustic US3K - just ready to plug in.
