Alii Fig Bush

Ficus binnendijkii 'Alii' is the fig with the willow-like leaves — long, narrow and slightly drooping, in a soft olive green. This is the bushy, multi-stemmed form, full from the base, and the least dramatic of the indoor figs when it comes to leaf drop.Best space & placeBright, indirect light; it will take a little morning sun. Normal room temperatures, minimum 13°C, away from cold draughts. Settles quickly and does not need turning.When to water & feedWater when the top few centimetres of soil are dry, and let it drain. Feed monthly through spring and summer. Reduce both in winter.Need to knowFar less prone to sulking than a weeping fig, but a few yellow leaves on arrival are normal. Wipe the leaves now and then; the sap can irritate skin and pets.Decorative pots not included. The plant will be delivered in a plastic nursery pot.
