Mounted Textile Cards – Colours of Korat

Small textile works made from offcuts of the hand-spun silk developed for Colours of Korat, a collaboration between Slowstitch Studio and the Baan Duu Weaving Collective. The silk was dyed by Slowstitch and woven in Baan Duu, bringing shifting colour into the texture of the cloth. Each fragment is mounted on heavy white card, with colour and composition varying from piece to piece.
