Gouda started in The Netherlands as farm cheese traded in a single village. Today it’s a global phenomenon. Join us on Wednesday, September 9th from 6:30pm - 7:30pm as Katie from Essex St. Cheese shares gouda’s story. From the development of the original recipe to the various styles it takes today, and, finally, to the great cheeses sourced by Fromagerie l’Amuse, Amsterdam’s best cheese shop and exporter. Wine will be paired with each of the four Goudas tasted. Must be 21 years of age to attend.
