Stizzo. Time We’ll Remember

ART BOOK + TRAVEL TOOL BOOK The imagery of classic American tattooing seen through a European lens, blended with religious and folk influences that are deeply Italian, creates a new voice—personal, powerful, and instantly recognisable—in the direct, potent narrative style of Stizzo. This volume presents a collection of over one hundred plates—most of them never seen before—capturing the passion, dedication, and history that Stizzo of Best of Times Tattoo in Milan has built over more than thirty years of work. His art pays tribute to the classics of Traditional tattooing, with a special focus on angels, sacred hearts, women, daggers, roses, and skulls—all executed in his unmistakable style. The spotlight is on lines and shading: drawings on paper, real lines born from the artist’s hand. This commitment to hand-drawn craft, combined with a classical eye and an embrace of human imperfection, defines Stizzo’s unique signature. Included with the book is a 100-page booklet of line drawings and pencil sketches—preparatory studies of his iconic subjects—offering a rare glimpse into his creative process. A true source of inspiration and ideas for all lovers of Traditional tattoo art.
