SECLUDED SECONDS

Secluded Seconds is a collection of photographs by Malaysian street photographer Amirul Johari, bringing together fleeting encounters, quiet observations, and moments that might otherwise disappear into the rhythm of everyday life. Collected from his photographic archive across several years, the work moves between personal memory, hidden emotions, and imagined narratives. Rather than documenting the street in a straightforward way, Amirul looks for moments that feel slightly removed from their surroundings, a solitary figure, an unexpected gesture, a reflection, or a scene that leaves room for interpretation.
