Cohiba - Siglo VI - Box of 10

A box of ten cigars.Added to the line in 2002, ten years after the original five, the Cañonazo quickly became one of the most sought-after Cohibas. Its broad 52 ring gauge gives a full, cool, generous smoke, and it is made at the El Laguito factory. The Siglo VI Tubos was the first Cuban cigar presented in a pull-top “lipstick” tube.Cohiba's Línea 1492 was unveiled in Havana in November 1992 to mark five hundred years since Columbus reached the Americas. “Siglo” means century, and each number in the original line honours one of those five centuries. As with every Cohiba, the tobacco is selected from the Vuelta Abajo, and the seco and ligero leaves are given the marque's additional fermentation in barrels, which is behind the smooth, rounded character Cohiba is known for. Habanos class the Línea 1492 as medium in flavour, the lightest of the Cohiba lines, which makes the Siglos an elegant introduction to the marque and a dependable everyday choice for experienced smokers.Connoisseurs' notesPublished reviewers commonly describe the Siglo VI as: Nutty and creamy, with espresso, brown sugar and dried-berry notes, a touch of pepper and a chocolate finish.Summarised from published tasting notes (Cigar Aficionado and specialist UK tobacconists).Recognition Cigar Aficionado 93 – No. 8 of the Top 25 Cigars of 2021 Cigar Aficionado 92 – No. 19 of the Top 25 Cigars of 2018 (Siglo VI Tubo) Specifications Marque / line Cohiba · Línea 1492 Factory size (vitola) Cañonazo Shape Robusto extra / Toro (Cañonazo) Length 150 mm (5⅞") Ring gauge 52 Strength Medium (Habanos classification) Smoking time about 50–60 minutes (approx.)
