A NOTE FROM THE CURATOR An exceptionally preserved Doxa dress watch with the proportions that make vintage “Jumbo” examples particularly desirable today. At 37mm in stainless steel, it blends the warmth and restraint of 1950s design with a size that feels familiar to the modern gentleman. The off-white dial has a subtle eggshell texture, complemented by gold-tone hour markers and an applied Doxa logo. Its clean 12-3-6-9 layout lets these details breathe, allowing this classic design stand out as a timeless relic of mid-century watch design. In addition to its "like new old stock condition", perhaps the the most exciting feature of this set is that it is accompanied by its original guarantee papers from 1958 and Doxa hang tag, verifying the original 1958 sale date, as well as the serial number matching the case-back.
