Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain

Suitable for all exterior wood surfaces (including oak structures and decking), Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain is a hard wearing transparent oil with a wide range of coloured tints - or choose your own with our custom tinting service. Unlike Osmo UV Protection Oil, Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain is suitable for use on horizontal surfaces - so we recommend it for exterior frames and doors. Key benefits Fast-drying. So durable it can even be used on decking. Top tips On tannin rich woods, such as Oak, use the Osmo WR Basecoat to prevent tannin leaching and blue spots. We would also recommend WR Basecoat on woods such as Accoya, Pine, Douglas Fir, and Spruce for a more consistent, even finish. Only apply to woods such as Cedar, Teak and Iroko after the wood has weathered for at least 3 months - or the grain will be too tightly closed to allow the oil to absorb. Like all oils, the clear will warm the colour of the wood and tinted oils will have a dark outcome on rougher or open grained woods or dark woods.
