DSC Scud Steel Grill Helmet

The DSC Scud Steel Grill Helmet combines a double-layered shell with a superior inner EPS liner to provide protective coverage for cricket. A fixed, double-layered powder-coated carbon steel face guard is paired with moulded ear flaps, while cushioning with twill towel fabric provides additional comfort. Built-in ventilation promotes airflow through the helmet during extended periods of play. For fit and comfort, the Scud features a rear support strap along with a removable and washable sweatband. The helmet and faceguard conform to BS 7928:2013 + A1:2019 and have been tested for use with both 4¾ oz and 5½ oz cricket balls. Supplied accessories include a rear band, 10 mm Swoppa band, carry bag and spare Velcros. Sizes cover head circumferences from 51 cm to 65 cm.
