FAQ Q: How long will it take to build my Tad Boy Color? A: Standard build time is 6-8 weeks. If a delay is projected, you will be notified with an updated target. Q: Why is it so expensive? A: Two reasons: parts and labor. The base fee includes the motherboard(minus GBC CPU/RAM), buttons, membranes, screen assembly, etc. Assembly and testing is done by hand, which includes 3-4 hours of labor. Q: How much do aluminum and polycarbonate shells cost? A: In most cases, each shell half will cost ~$100, inclusive of taxes and fees. Because these are fabricated by outside sources, actual quotes may be different. Q: Can I cancel my order? A: Orders can be cancelled before you have paid the updated invoice with the final shell price.
