This is Oshima fabric, a traditional Japanese textile woven using silk threads that are pre-dyed before weaving. It is known for its lightweight structure, fine texture, and subtle, intricate patterns. It is commonly used in kimono and reflects skilled craftsmanship through its detailed weaving process and durable construction. We added this Oshima Tsumugi to our Dancing in the rain collection since compared to other kimono, Oshima Tsumugi is water resistant. Also, the color won't run since the paint doesn't sit on top of the fabric. Instead, the threads are dyed before weaving. Also, we generated a preview image on how your orders will look like based on the design you are ordering. Please note that this is a proximation. There will definitely be difference. Please indicate your measurement when you order. You need to indicate it in inches. We need you to measure yourself so we can really make sure it is a good fit. Failure to indicate your size may result to delays in the delivery of your orders. If you are an existing clients, you can type "same as before". We can extract your previous measurements.
