Recording King 00066 000 12-Fret Acoustic Guitar #2205

The Recording King 00066 is a Standard Series 000 with a 12-fret neck join and an all-mahogany body: the top is solid African mahogany, over solid African mahogany back and sides. The natural low gloss finish gives it a satin sheen instead of a polished one. It has a 25.4 inch scale, a 1 3/4 inch bone nut and a bone saddle, a rosewood fingerboard with 5mm mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and an RK belly bridge in rosewood with ebony pins. Satin nickel open-gear tuners sit on a headstock with the RK-1 abalone logo over a rosewood veneer, and a premium tortoiseshell pickguard protects the top. It ships with a brown gig bag. We would point it at a player who wants an all-mahogany 000 with a 12-fret join, and who is fine with a gig bag in place of a hardshell case. It is acoustic only but a pickup can always be added.
