Finding the Balance Original

8x10 Oil on board I always thought balance was a woman holding a scale. That all things in life needed to be equal, to level out. But I'm learning, it's actually more like riding a longboard–wobbling back and forth, looking for your sweet spot, constantly trying to find it again. One side gives, the other takes, and then vice-versa. It's not everything all at once. It's a little to this and a little to that, always checking in to make sure you aren't about to fall of and eat cement. This is the original Finding the Balance, hand-painted in my studio. There is only one original, making this a chance to bring the physical painting and the story behind it into your home.
