Kinusaiga Half Kit - Roller Skate

An ‘80s flashback kit, featuring a Roller Skate and some simple flowers! This image immediately brings me back to skate nights and flashing lights! *Please note the finished image is to show you an example of what yours may look like. You will receive a kit to make your own variant. This is a DIY project. This kit is designed for a Beginner skill level. Do you already have a box full of fabric scraps? A utility knife and a seam ripper (or other poking tools…) Then this kit may be perfect for you! Each Half kit will comes with: 6”x6” Foam block with double sided adhesive already affixed in place Vinyl line drawing affixed to block (this is your guide— the pieces will become your fabric templates) Color Map print out Optional custom made blank wooden frame available as an add-on. Kinusaiga is the art of creating a painting using silk (or other fabrics). The origins can be traced back to Japanese textile artist Maeno Setsu who pioneered the technique in the late 1980s. I have been extremely inspired lately by this technique. Creating artworks from my vast collection of line drawings.
