ABOUT THE EVENT Bhog & Raag — A Sawan Celebration from Vrindavan This Sawan, IBTIDA brings the traditions of Vrindavan to life through an intimate evening of Bhog, Raag, Katha and Jhulan. Rooted in the monsoon traditions of Braj, the evening celebrates the longing, devotion, playfulness and reunion of Radha and Krishna. Traditional Haveli Sangeet and kirtan from Vrindavan, woven with storytelling, lead guests into the emotional world of Sawan, culminating in the ceremonial Jhulan—the flower-adorned swing. The culinary experience brings the same spirit to the table. Bhog, prepared through traditional recipes and techniques carried across generations of Vrindavan’s rasoiyas, becomes an offering in its own right.
