9ct Gold, Pink Tourmaline & Diamond Ring 52 Ring Collection – Ring No. 46 Some rings make a statement by being elaborate. This one does it with colour. Made in 9ct gold, the ring features a striking 6 x 4mm oval pink tourmaline as its centre stone. The bright pink colour is impossible to ignore – this is very much a look at me kind of gemstone. The tourmaline is bezel set in a highly polished plain gold band and flanked by two diamonds, also bezel set. The simple setting keeps the design contemporary and allows the colour and sparkle of the stones to do all the work. It’s a ring with a distinctly luxurious feel, but without being overly traditional. It would make a wonderful way to mark a special occasion – and would make a particularly unusual and very special engagement ring.
