Tail Flowers

8 x 8, Acrylic & Ink on Panel, 2026 Part of the Small Wonders collection, Tail Flowers combines a whale’s tail with a field of bright blue, flower-like shapes and intricate hand-drawn patterns. I wanted to play with the idea of the ocean as a strange, colorful garden, where familiar forms can take on a new life. Painted on wood with acrylic and hand-drawn ink, this piece is a little celebration of the beauty and mystery beneath the surface.
