Anthurium forgetii × nigrolaminum – F1 Hybrid

Anthurium forgetii × nigrolaminum is a first-generation (F1) hybrid from our in-house breeding programme. This cross combines the elegant foliage of Anthurium forgetii with the velvety texture and dark character of Anthurium nigrolaminum. The result is a unique seed-grown hybrid with excellent potential for distinctive foliage as it matures. Young plants already display attractive reddish petioles and beautifully coloured emerging leaves with copper to bronze tones. As with all F1 hybrids, every seedling is genetically unique and may develop a different combination of characteristics inherited from its parents. To maximize the chances of discovering exceptional new cultivars, we sow considerably more seedlings than we ultimately need. The most promising individuals are selected for our breeding programme, while the remaining healthy seedlings are offered in limited quantities through this exclusive collection. This is a seed-grown plant from our own breeding programme, not a tissue-cultured clone, making every plant truly one of a kind.
