Murder at the Arcade (an 80’s themed Murder Mystery)

Thursday, September 24th Join us for a Murder Mystery Night at The Tea Shoppe. Welcome to Game Over, an 80’s themed arcade murder mystery game where a quarter might buy you more lives, but a killer is there to take them all away! Down at the 4 Quarters Arcade, the video games aren’t the only thing that’s killer. Today’s dance competition is being held to raise funds and awareness for the arcade, beloved throughout the community. Complete with kickass competitors, returning champs, and those just dying for a chance at the prize money and respect, it is sure to be a thriller of a day. Michael Jetson, famous dancer and former town local, stepped up to give a surprise opening performance when he slipped and banged his head, dying instantly. The cause of death? A deliberately greased up dance mat. Among the gamers, competition hopefuls and business owners and workers lurks a dangerous murderer. Characters will be assigned by tables (or groups) and we will provide you a bio in advance. Feel free to ‘dress’ as your character and be prepared for a night of fun and suspense. A themed tea service will be provided and comes with (1) complimentary glass of prosecco! (Guests must be 21+ to order an alcoholic beverage.) Non-alcoholic beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks) are included. ~Reservations are required, $36 / per person. Additional glasses of mimosa or wine can be purchased. Non-alcoholic beverages are included in the cost. This event will close out by September 1st so that we have time to assign the characters – so get your tickets soon! Event Details All event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable for other events. Also, we will no longer hold tickets for a future event if you are unable to attend. If additional dates are offered for an event after you have already registered, we cannot transfer tickets between dates. For children’s teas be sure to identify how many adults and children will be attending. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult. ALL attendees, children and adults, must register (and pay) for the event. Due to limited space, we do not allow non-paying observers, family members, or other non participants in the dining room during the event. Please notify us of any food allergies 48 hours prior to the event. We will not be able to accommodate any dietary changes the day of the event. If you wish to be seated as a group, please either book all together or when you pay enter the party you wish to sit with in the Order Comment section. There are no ‘tickets’.
