Sourced from two of Auxey-Duresses' most prized vineyards, this wine balances the distinct character of each site. One south-facing parcel, with its pale limestone-rich soils, brings early ripeness and vibrant fruit, while a southeast-facing plot of clay-rich earth contributes depth, structure and fine tannins. Together, they create a wine of remarkable power and harmony. In the glass, bright purple hues lead to a palate layered with dark berry fruit and a plush, velvety texture. Fresh acidity keeps the wine lifted and energetic, while a crunchy mineral edge and refined tannins provide impressive length and complexity.
