Fall 2026 Reduction Block Printing

Reduction Block Printing Tuesdays, Oct 27- Nov 17, 6-9pm $200 Discover one of printmaking's most satisfying techniques. Using a single linoleum block, you'll carve and print in stages to create richly layered images with multiple colors. As each layer is printed, more of the block is carved away, allowing the image to gradually emerge through the printing process. Over four weeks, we'll explore image planning, color mixing, registration, carving strategies, and edition printing. You'll leave with a finished edition of original reduction prints and a deeper understanding of color, layering, and relief printmaking. Previous block printing experience is helpful but not required. Materials provided.
