Sideritis Mountain Tea CO₂ Wax — An Ancient Balkan Herbal Rarity Sideritis scardica — known throughout the Balkans as Greek mountain tea, ironwort, or shepherd's tea — has been gathered from the high mountain slopes of Bulgaria and Greece for centuries, traditionally brewed as a revered tonic said to promote vitality and longevity. This CO₂ wax offers a genuinely rare opportunity to work with the material as a perfumery ingredient rather than a beverage — capturing its full aromatic and lipid complexity in concentrated wax form. As the pure wax is solid at room temperature, we supply it at 50% in natural triethyl citrate (TEC) — extracted from citric acid within citrus fruit, an odourless, genuinely natural carrier that gives a workable pourability while preserving the material's distinctive herbal character.
