Grapes: Sangiovese Character: An elegant wine with a great aroma with hints of dark cherries and spicy plums. On the palate there is red fruit, minerals, vanilla and some herbaceousnes, all with well-balanced acidity and lively tannins. Goes well with: Excellent with bird, dark meat, meat dishes and pasta dishes. About the wine: Chianti Classico wines must be aged for at least one year before being released for sale.
