The design originates from the 2013 SUPER GT season, where "GSR&Studie with TeamUKYO" competed in the GT300 class and finished third in the season rankings. The kit faithfully recreates the 2013 Racing Miku character design, a collaboration between illustrator saitom and costume designer Mari Shimazaki, with all the key details carried over from the original scale figure version into this 1/8 plastic model format.
