KLH Model Four

Description The KLH Model Four is the largest floorstander in the reborn Model series, a three way acoustic suspension design that carries forward the sealed cabinet tradition KLH helped pioneer. An 8 inch pulp paper woofer, a dedicated 4 inch midrange, and a 1 inch aluminum dome tweeter work together in a slim, furniture grade cabinet tuned for natural tonal balance and tight, well defined bass. Because the cabinet is sealed rather than ported, the Model Four produces bass that starts and stops cleanly and reaches down to 46 Hz without the overhang that some vented designs add. A three position acoustic balance control lets you set the high frequency level to suit your room and taste, while five way gold plated binding posts and a 6 ohm nominal load make it a comfortable match for a wide range of amplifiers. Finished in real wood veneers with a magnetic knit grille and a matching riser base, the Model Four is built to look as considered as it sounds.
