Evermore

James Deignan’s Evermore brings together two beloved melodies, “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming” and “Of the Father’s Love Begotten,” in an accessible and expressive SAB setting. Well suited for holiday-themed concerts, the piece works beautifully for school, community, and adult choirs. A lovely piano accompaniment supports the singers throughout, leading to a compelling dramatic close as the word “Evermore” is repeated with growing intensity. At approximately four minutes, Evermore is a rewarding addition to seasonal concert repertoire.
