Over time, walnut develops a richer, more nuanced patina as it responds to light and its surroundings. As a natural material, every piece of walnut is unique. Variations in grain, tone and natural markings are an inherent part of the timber and cannot be controlled. Our skilled makers carefully select each piece to ensure the best possible character and appearance, while features such as knots, sapwood and subtle changes in colour should be celebrated as part of the natural beauty of the wood. Our walnut is finished with a PU Lacquer to protect the timber while allowing its natural depth and character to remain visible.
