Designation Tejo DOC Viticulture The grapes come from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, providing structure, balance and remarkable aromatic expression. Harvest Hand-harvested. Winemaking The grapes were fully destemmed and gently crushed, followed by an extended five-day maceration with fermentation temperature controlled at around 26°C. The wine was aged for 12 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels, followed by a further 24 months of bottle ageing before release. Winemaker Pedro Gil.
