The HiveIQ Hive Scales are seamlessly integrated into the hive base to provide continuous, real-time weight monitoring of the entire colony. As hive weight changes, the scales deliver precise data to the Communications Gateway via Bluetooth for upload to the cloud platform. Combined with temperature, humidity, and weather data, this enables advanced analytics to detect key events such as nectar flows ready for harvest, low stores risking starvation, or abnormal weight loss indicating issues like swarming or disease.
