Upgrade your classic F-body’s rear suspension with the UMI Performance 272829 Outboard Double Shear Rear Shock Mount Kit. This system converts the weak factory upper single stud mount into a rigid double-shear configuration, eliminating energy-wasting flex. The lower mounts are replaced by heavy-duty outboard leaf spring plates CNC-formed from 1/4-inch high-strength steel, preventing twisting under hard cornering or launch. Engineered for 1967–1969 Camaro and Firebird models, this bolt-on kit includes upper mounts (2728DR and 2728PA), lower leaf plates (2730), and premium hardware.
