It mounts flat to the inside of the tailgate, handles up to 600 watts RMS, and lives in a tough roto-molded, weather-resistant enclosure built for a Jeep that spends its life with the top off. The Solo-Baric L7T square cone moves up to 20% more air than a comparable round subwoofer, and the thin-mount design is what lets a full-size 12-inch driver fit into a 9-inch-deep box on the tailgate. Heads up: this is a passive enclosure. It requires an external amplifier, sold separately.
