Instagrid LINK 36 230V IP54 – Intelligent Power Distributor The Instagrid LINK 36 is a compact, intelligent power distributor designed to expand the capabilities of the Instagrid ONE portable power system. It allows multiple power sources and devices to be connected together, providing increased runtime, power distribution and continuous backup power for demanding professional applications. Designed for theatre, live events, film, broadcast and mobile production, Instagrid LINK can connect up to three Instagrid ONE units in Island Mode, allowing you to significantly increase the available energy capacity for longer off-grid operation. For applications where uninterrupted power is essential, Continuous Power Mode allows LINK to switch automatically between mains and battery power in less than 20 milliseconds, helping keep connected equipment operating through a loss of mains supply. Connect Multiple Instagrid ONE Units In Island Mode, up to three Instagrid ONE units can be connected to Instagrid LINK. This allows you to increase the available energy capacity for longer-running productions and off-grid applications. Instagrid ONE units can also be hot-swapped during operation, allowing depleted units to be replaced with charged units while connected equipment continues running. Continuous Backup Power Instagrid LINK can be used with a 230V AC mains supply and an Instagrid ONE to create a continuous power system. If the mains supply is interrupted, LINK switches from mains to battery power in less than 20 milliseconds, making it particularly useful for professional applications where maintaining power to connected equipment is important. Three Individually Protected Outputs Instagrid LINK provides three 16A 230V CEEform outputs, allowing up to three devices or circuits to be powered simultaneously. Each output is individually protected by a 30mA Type A RCD, with additional B16 line protection built into the unit.
