An iteration of our best-selling Cocher, the Cocher (Sphere) Side Table is the materialisation of an idea rather than a finished conclusion, an exercise in form as much as function. Six turned timber spheres punctuate the solid timber column in two vertical rows, an intuitive gesture followed through rather than planned. Sphere is becoming an important part of our language, and this piece marks that instinct made physical: part maquette, part finished object, caught somewhere between study and statement.
